The Records
DePaul is 2-4 after losing to Purdue, 81-73, in Lahaina, Hawaii at the EA Sports Maui Invitational on November 22. Kansas is 6-1 after beating Dartmouth, 83-32, on Tuesday in Lawrence, Kan. The Jayhawks are ranked fifth in both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls.

Kansas rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to post a 75-69 victory over DePaul on December 12, 2000 at the United Center in Chicago. Nick Collison led the Jayhawks with 23 points and Bobby Simmons had 17 for the Blue Demons.

Jerry Wainwright is in his second season at DePaul and his 13th as a head coach. He is 200-163 overall and 14-19 with the Blue Demons. Wainwright is 1-0 against the Jayhawks.
