Blue Demons Struggle at Villanova

The Blue Demons struggled offensively, tallying just 29 kills and managed a .045 attack percentage. Conversely, the Wildcats had their best offensive effort of the season, notching a .432 attack percentage and 47 kills. Villanova' Alona Cherkez led the field with 15 kills and Adrian Semrau chipped in 11 kills.
DePaul had its best offensive effort in game two, notching 15 kills for a .314 attack percentage. Senior Ellen Hayes led all players with six kills.
Villanova paced games one and three with hard hitting offense. The Wildcats notched a .242 attack percentage in game one and hit a sizzling .667 in the final set.
Senior Deane Gibson and Hayes led the Blue Demons with eight kills apiece while Hayes registered a team-high .273 attack percentage for the match.
