DePaul is 2-6 after falling to Ole Miss, 69-63, on Thursday in the first game of the San Juan Shootout. Clemson is 9-0 after beating Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, 90-73, in its first San Juan Shootout contest on Thursday. The Tigers are ranked No. 15 is both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls. This is the second game of the San Juan Shootout for each team.
