Game Times and TV Set for Men's Basketball Conference Schedule

CHICAGO - The BIG EAST Conference announced today the game times and television information for the 2009-10 basketball season. Every conference game will be televised this season with the Blue Demons appearing on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and the BIG EAST Network.
In the previously announced conference schedule, DePaul is set to play the Feb. 3 game at Marquette on ESPN2. The Blue Demons host Providence on Thursday, Jan. 14 in a game that will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.
DePaul will make five appearances on ESPNU beginning with the BIG EAST opener at Pittsburgh on Monday, Dec. 28. Other ESPNU games include Feb. 16 against Rutgers, Feb. 20 against Louisville, Feb. 17 at Rutgers and Mar. 2 against USF.
A total of 11 BIG EAST games will be on the BIG EAST Network. In Chicago, all of DePaul's BIG EAST Network games can be seen on ThisTV. ThisTV is a sister station of WCIU and can be found on Comcast digital cable on channel 246. ThisTV is also available in the Chicagoland area on RCN at channel 38 and on WOW cable on channel 195.
Additionally all BIG EAST Conference games will be available on ESPN's Full Court package and on ESPN360.com. Recently, Comcast added ESPNU to its television lineup and ESPN360.com to its online services.
ThisTV was launched on Nov. 1, 2008 as a joint venture between film/TV studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Chicago-based Weigel Broadcasting Co. Below is a list of providers and information as to how to see DePaul games on ThisTV.
Comcast: Comcast subscribers will need Comcast's digital tier service to get ThisTV. It is located on channel 246.
RCN: RCN provides ThisTV as part of its basic cable service. ThisTV can be found on channel 38 on RCN.
WOW: WOW provides ThisTV as part of its basic cable service. On WOW, ThisTV is channel 195.
AT&T Uverse: Currently, ThisTV is not available on AT&T Uverse.
DISH Network and DirecTV: At this time, DISH Network and DirecTV do not carry ThisTV.
Over the Air: Using a digital converter box and an antenna, ThisTV is available over the air.
