ANAHEIM, Calif. - DePaul looks to snap a three-game skid and leave Anaheim with a victory on Sunday morning against Stanford in the final day of the 76 Classic. Both teams have lost both games over the first two days of action with DePaul falling to Oklahoma State (60-56) and Cal State Northridge (88-66) and Stanford posting defeats against Murray State (55-52) and Tulsa (65-53).

DePaul enters the game at 1-3 following the losses this week against the Cowboys and Matadors while Stanford is 3-2 overall through five games this season. Following the Stanford game, the Blue Demons host Northern Illinois on Dec. 2 at Allstate Arena. That game can be seen on LPTV in Chicago and heard on WSCR 670 AM with Zach Zaidman and Laurence Holmes.
Demon Doings: Notes following DePaul's 88-66 loss against Cal State Northridge on Nov. 26:
- DePaul's 1-3 start marks the first time since the 2006-07 season that the Blue Demons dropped three of their first four games.
- Brandon Young reached double-figures for the fourth time in as many collegiate games.
- Krys Faber matched his career high with 11 points (last at Providence, Jan. 3, 2009)... he also reached double-figures for the third straight game (fourth career).
- The Blue Demons are 5-for-35 (.143) from three-point range in two 76 Classic games.
- Oliver Purnell is 2-3 all-time at the 76 Classic... he led Clemson to a 2-1 record last season.
- DePaul is 5-1 all-time against Big West Conference opponents.
- Cal State Northridge set a 76 Classic record for most points in a regulation game with 88 points.
- Cal State Northridge is 1-3 all-time against BIG EAST programs.
- Friday was the first meeting between the two programs.
Opponent No. 5 - Stanford Cardinal: Stanford enters Sunday's action at 3-2 after dropping its first two games at the 76 Classic... the Cardinal opened the tournament with a 55-52 loss to Murray State before falling, 65-53, to Tulsa... Jeremy Green is the lone player averaging double-figures with a team-high 14.6 points per game... he also leads the team 15 three-pointers... the remainder of the rost has combined for 16 trifectas... prior to the 76 Classic, Stanford posted three straight wins over San Diego, Virginia and Arkansas-Pine Bluff... head coach Johnny Dawkins is in his third season at Stanford.
The Series: Sunday is just the third all-time meeting between the two programs... Stanford won the first meeting of the series with an 88-75 decision on Dec. 27, 1966... the last meeting at the Maui Invitational on Dec. 22, 1992 saw the DePaul post a 76-67 victory.
Against the Pac-10: DePaul is 23-24 all-time against teams from the Pac-10... UCLA is the most common opponent with 18 all-time meetings... the Bruins are the last Pac-10 opponent... UCLA defeated DePaul, 72-54, in the Wooden Classic at the Honda Center on Dec. 13, 2008.
