
Volleyball Takes Part in DIG PINK Initiative

CHICAGO - The DePaul volleyball team has joined up with the Side-Out Foundation to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer in the DIG PINK initiative.
In order to raise awareness, the Blue Demons will sport pink uniforms in an upcoming BIG EAST clash with Villanova on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m.

The Blue Demons return to the court this Saturday at 7 p.m. when they host Marquette in the team's annual "Pack the House" night. The contest will conclude "Super Saturday" for DePaul which features back-to-back home soccer matches before a volleyball finale.
About Side-Out
The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established in 2004 to unite volleyball players and coaches and to have them work toward the common goal of furthering breast cancer awareness, education and patient services. Side-Out supports teams nationwide in their volleyball tournaments, clinics and other fundraising efforts. The foundation contributes the funds to organizations that serve breast cancer patients, whether it be in the form of research, medical services or patient support.
