Women's Tennis Well-Represented in Preseason Rankings

CHICAGO -- The DePaul women's tennis team is well-represented in the first Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings released late last week.
The Blue Demons, who won the 2014 BIG EAST Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, will begin the year ranked No. 46 nationally. They finished last season 22-4 overall and will head to the Purdue Invitational this weekend (Jan. 16-18) before opening their dual season on Jan. 24 against Texas in Nashville, Tenn.
In addition, freshman Patricia Lancranjan will start the year No. 93 in the singles poll while seniors Jasmin Kling and Patricia Fargas landed in the 52nd spot in the national doubles poll.
