DePaul Hosts George Washington Tuesday in Rosemont

DePaul is at 5-6 while George Washington stands at 10-1 this season. The Blue Demons have dropped three straight since recording four consecutive wins while the Colonials enter Tuesday's action on a four-game winning streak.
Head coach Dave Leitao is in his fourth season at DePaul and his first since returning to the program after leading the Blue Demons to three postseasons in three years from 2002-05. Overall, the 2015-16 campaign is Leitao's 10th as a head coach at the collegiate level. George Washington is led by Mike Lonergan who is in his fifth season leading the Colonials.

Cain's 15.5 points per game led the Blue Demons during the week while he went 12-for-17 (.706) from the field. Those numbers also included a 4-of-6 (.667) effort from behind the arc and he added a total of seven rebounds and four assists in the two games.
The freshman opened the week with 11 points at UIC while grabbing four rebounds with an assist and a steal. On Saturday, he recorded his first 20-point game with a team-high 20 against Chicago State. He added three rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot in 28 minutes while going 8-of-11 from the field.
Cain is the first BIG EAST Rookie of the Week winner for DePaul since the 2013-14 season that saw R.J. Curington, Billy Garrett Jr. and Tommy Hamilton IV all claim the award at least once. Garrett was named the top weekly rookie five times while Curington and Hamilton were recognized once each.
