Men's Tennis Falls to Southern Illinois

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- The DePaul men's tennis team fell for the second straight day at the MTSU Shootout, this time to Southern Illinois on Saturday morning.
The 4-2 defeat dropped DePaul's overall record to 10-8.
DePaul's two victories were posted in singles play by freshman Alex Galoustian and sophomore Nathan de Veer. Galoustian (No. 3) won a 6-2, 6-2 match over Daniel Martinez and de Veer topped Peter Molloy at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
DePaul will meet Binghamton tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. to wrap up the tournament.
