Blue Demons Drop Second Friday Match to UTSA

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- The DePaul men's tennis team dropped its second match of the day on Friday afternoon at the H-E-B Invitational.
Following a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Arizona this morning, DePaul dropped a 4-0 decision to UT-San Antonio this afternoon. DePaul falls to 7-6 with the loss, while UTSA improves to 6-5.
All of UTSA's points were recorded in singles play, which were completed before the doubles matches. David Vieyra (No. 1), Nathan de Veer (No. 2), Jan-Willem Feilzer (No. 4) and Max Renke (No. 5) were each defeated in their singles matches.
DePaul will play New Mexico State Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the tournament's seventh place match to wrap up the weekend.
