Green Bay Defeats Men's Tennis 5-2

CHICAGO- Alex Galoustian and Jan-Willem Feilzer were the lone Blue Demons to clinch wins in the DePaul men's tennis team 5-2 loss to Green Bay.
DePaul now stands 2-2 overall and 1-1 at home.
Galoustian and Feilzer now boast two wins in a row in their respective singles spots, Galoustian at No. 2 and Feilzer at No. 6. Against Green Bay, Galoustian defeated Howard Scott 7-5, 1-6, 6-1 and Feilzer won against Rowan Isaaks 6-3, 6-3.
The rest of singles and doubles play concluded with defeats.
At No. 1 singles, Sten Leusink fell 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 to Leo Gomez-Inslinger. Kyle Johson lost to Florian Kraenzler at No. 3 6-3, 3-6, 6-4. Joshua Schramm defeated Nathan de Veer at No. 4 7-5, 6-4, 6-4, while Joey Leto beat Tim Corwin 6-2, 6-2.
At doubles, Gomez-Islinger and Kraenzler defeated Leusink and Johnson 6-3 at No. 1. Scott and Leto beat de Veer and Galoustian 6-3 at No. 2 while Miles McDonnell and Isaaks defeated Feilzer and Paul John 6-1 at No. 3.
Up next, the Blue Demons head to Texas to take on UT Arlington at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30 and SMU on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m.
