Blue Demons Face Chicago State in Rosemont

CHICAGO - DePaul opens the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic with a Saturday afternoon game against Chicago State. The Blue Demons also host Southeast Missouri State on Monday night before traveling to Las Vegas for two games on Thursday and Friday.
Saturday's game will be televised on FS1 with Jeff Levering (play-by-play) and Dickey Simpkins (analyst) handling the television duties. The game can also be seen online and on mobile devices via FOX Sports Go. DePaul's radio tandem of Zach Zaidman (play-by-play) and Laurence Holmes (analyst) can be heard on WSCR 670 AM and online on BlueTube at www.depaulbluedemons.com. Chicago State stands at 3-7 following a 68-64 loss at Northwestern on Wednesday. The Blue Demons are 5-4 to start the 2016-17 campaign after an 80-75 loss to UIC on Wednesday at McGrath-Phillips Arena. Head coach Dave Leitao is in his fifth season at DePaul and his second since returning to the program after leading the Blue Demons three postseasons in three years from 2002-05. Overall, the 2016-17 campaign is Leitao's 11th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Chicago State is led by Tracy Dildy who is in his seventh season leading the Cougars.
