Men's Soccer Announces Winter, Spring Camps

CHICAGO - DePaul men's soccer coach Craig Blazer and his staff have announced a winter training camp Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Sullivan Athletic Center (2323 N. Sheffield Ave.) and a spring training camp Sunday, April 9 at Wish Field (Belden & Bissell).
The one-day camps are designed for any and all boys' high school players, junior college and four-year college transfers (with a release) who aspire to play at the college level. Blazer and assistant coaches Craig Reynolds and Anthony Szymel will direct the camps.
The winter camp will be held from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. on the gym floor of McGrath-Phillips Arena inside the Sullivan Athletic Center. Appropriate shoes and attire are required at all times. Please contact the DePaul men's soccer staff with questions or concerns. Cost for the winter camp is $85 and includes a DePaul Men's Soccer training top.
Training sessions, small-sided games and full-sided games will give the DePaul staff an opportunity to provide feedback to each player over the course of the camp while giving the player a glimpse of the level of intensity needed to compete at the Division I level and within the BIG EAST Conference.
The spring camp will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Wish Field and will feature circuit training, a goalkeeper training session, small-sided games and full-sided games. Cost for the spring camp is $130.
All NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College schools from the Chicago area will be invited to attend, watch, and evaluate players at both camps. Past schools in attendance include Northwestern University, Loyola University Chicago, University of Illinois - Chicago, Northern Illinois University, Millikin University, Knox College, Benedictine University, Robert Morris College, Aurora University, Roosevelt University, Elmhurst College, North Central College, and University of Chicago.
