No. 72 Women's Tennis Heads to Indianapolis

CHICAGO - The No. 72 DePaul women's tennis teams heads to Indianapolis to take on the Butler Bulldogs on Sunday, Apr. 3 at 11 a.m. Central time.
DePaul (7-7) looks to win its second BIG EAST match of the season.
Last weekend, the Blue Demons fell 7-0 to No. 13 Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas.
Yuliya Shupenia and Rebeca Mitrea continue to lead the Blue Demons in singles and doubles action for the dual season. The junior and senior have eight singles wins each and are ranked as the No. 39 doubles duo in the country.
Butler's (1-19) lone victory this season came back in February when the Bulldogs defeated Indianapolis 6-1. Butler is led by Rachel Sutton who has posted five singles wins overall this season.
Last year, the Blue Demons and Bulldogs faced off in Lincoln Park with DePaul recording a 6-1 victory. Shupenia, Patricia Lancranjan, Mitrea and Zaina Sufi won all their respective singles matches for the win.
Sunday's match takes place at the Butler Bubble located on Butler's campus.
