Volleyball Adds Marshall to 2016 Roster

Head coach Nadia Edwards and the Blue Demons hit the road four times in April.

CHICAGO - The DePaul volleyball team and head coach Nadia Edwards added outside hitter and middle blocker Ashley Marshall to the 2016 roster.

Marshall comes to DePaul from St. Michael, Barbados and competed at Alleyne School, Queen's College and the University of the West Indies where she won two championships.

"We are really excited to have Ashley join our team," said Edwards. "She brings international experience and athleticism to the table and has the ability to play on the pin as well as the middle. She can certainly add to the depth and versatility to our offense."

The freshman played club volleyball for the Toners Volleyball Club. She played netball and basketball in addition to volleyball.

Marshall and the Blue Demons prepare for their final invitational of the season at the Spartan Classic. DePaul is set to face Maryland Eastern Shore, Notre Dame and Michigan State.
