Blue Demons Fall in Three at Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI - The DePaul volleyball team fell in three sets to Providence on Friday night, 3-0 (20-25, 22-25, 24-26). This marks the second loss to Providence this season, making the Blue Demons' record (8-18, 2-12 BIG EAST) overall.
Brittany Maxwell took home her sixth double-double of the season, racking up 10 kills and 21 digs during the match. In addition, Maxwell adds 10 kills to make her career kill total 965. Maxwell led DePaul with 10.0 match points.
Haley Bueser and Isabelle Banez earned 10 digs each. Katie Dolan was the top Blue Demon in the assist category, contributing 10 match assists.
DePaul is back on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. The Blue Demons are set to take on #15 Creighton in Omaha, Nebraska at D.J. Sokol Arena. The Blue Jay match will be live streamed on Jays Video. Full recaps and statistics after each match this weekend will be posted to DePaulBlueDemons.com.
