Clousing Caps Off Perfect Weekend on Sunday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Keisha Clousing capped off a perfect weekend Sunday at the Bronco Super Challenge hosted by Western Michigan.
The DePaul senior led the way at the Sorensen Courts at the West Hills Athletic Club with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Priscilla Palermo of Colorado State.
It lifted Clousing to a 3-0 singles record for the weekend that was accompanied by a 2-0 mark in doubles competition.
The Blue Demons went 3-1 in singles matches at the final event of its fall season.
Marija Jovicic followed Clousing's lead with a hard-fought 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(6) win over Michelle McKamey of Indiana. Aspasia Avgeri made it three in a row after topping the Hoosiers' Olga Zavarotnaya 7-6(5), 6-2.
Milica Tesic rounded out Sunday's competition falling 6-3, 6-3 to Jan Schober of Cleveland State.
