Antonijevic and Jovicic Win Doubles Championship

PEORIA, Ill. - DePaul freshmen Lenka Antonijevic and Marija Jovicic completed a nice run in their collegiate debut on Sunday.
The Blue Demon doubles team prevailed with a 6-4 decision over Veronika Golanova and Jelena Vujicic of Illinois State in the championship match of the Bradley Invitational.
Coach Mark Ardizzone's program also came away with a doubles victory when freshman Alina Kuzmenkova and junior Milica Tesic prevailed 6-3 over Shelby Anderson and Abby Carpenter of Eastern Illinois in the Flight B third-place match.
In singles, Antonijevic lost 7-6 (4), 6-4 to Thisuri Molligoda of Northern Illinois for third place in the Flight A bracket. Alina Kuzmenkova finished seventh after beating ISU's Vujicic 6-3, 2-6, 10-5.
In Flight B, Jovicic claimed the consolation championship with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Bradley's Natalie Barbery. In Flight C, Tesic fell to Claire Martin of EIU 6-1, 4-6, 10-7.
DePaul returns to action Friday for the three-day Wildcat Invite hosted by Northwestern.
