Women's Tennis Faces Purdue Friday on the Road

CHICAGO ââ'¬" Coach Mark Ardizzone and his Blue Demons are off to West Lafayette, Ind. for a pair of dual matches beginning Friday against the host Boilermakers that is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. (Central Time).
DePaul (3-2) returns to the Schwartz Tennis Center courts less than 24 hours later to take on Tulsa in a 9 a.m. match.
The Blue Demons are looking to bounce back from last weekend's 4-3 setback to Furman at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness.
Patricia Lancranjan will bring a two-match singles winning streak to Purdue and has won her last two doubles matches when paired with Keisha Clousing. The tandem of Clousing and Marija Jovicic has also won its last two doubles matches.
DePaul has opened the dual-match season with victories over Saint Louis, Milwaukee and Marshall and losses to Utah and Furman.
Purdue is off to a 4-2 start with wins over Cincinnati, Butler, Saint Louis and Valparaiso. The Billikens dropped matches to No. 23 Mississippi and Washington State.
Tulsa stands at 8-2 with a win over No. 16 Baylor. The Golden Hurricane has also defeated Arkansas Pine Bluff and Oral Roberts twice each, Brown, Louisville and Middle Tennessee. The other loss was to No. 10 Michigan.
