Women's Tennis Takes On Western Michigan, Furman

CHICAGO - DePaul women's tennis looks to build upon some early momentum with back-to-back matches at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness.
The Blue Demons have won three of their first four in the dual-match season heading into a 7 p.m. encounter with Western Michigan on Friday.
Just about 24 hours later, coach Mark Ardizzone's team returns to Lakeshore for a 6 p.m. match against Furman.
DePaul is coming off a thrilling 4-3 comeback win against Marshall last Sunday in the Courtside Classic at Minneapolis. Women's tennis rallied from a 2-0 deficit after forfeiting a doubles match and a singles match with Keisha Clousing clinching the win with her singles victory.
Clousing, Patricia Lancranjan and Milica Tesic have all opened up their second season with 3-1 marks while Aspasia Avgeri is 2-0 after winning a pair of singles matches last weekend.
Western Michigan comes to Lincoln Park with a 4-4 record after sweeping IUPUI and Hillsdale College last weekend. The Broncos have also beaten Butler and Oakland while losing to No. 16 Baylor, Notre Dame, Indiana and New Mexico.
Furman's last match was a 4-0 loss to Michigan State on Jan. 27. The Paladins from Greenville, S.C. have victories over Elon and Coastal Carolina and losses to Pennsylvania and Wake Forest.
