
Men's Tennis Falls to No. 19 Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME, Ind. ââ'¬" DePaul men's tennis found out on Saturday why Notre Dame is ranked No. 19 in the country.
Less than 24 hours after a decisive win over Illinois-Chicago, the Blue Demons dropped a 6-1 decision to the Fighting Irish.
DePaul came up short in two doubles matches to give Notre Dame (10-6) an early 1-0 lead.
The Irish followed up by winning five of the six singles matches at the Eck Tennis Pavilion.
DePaul (12-6) got on the scoreboard after Christopher Casati at No. 5 singles prevailed over Paul Gota 6-4, 6-3.
The victory improved Casati's record to 8-4 in the dual-match season and 13-9 overall.
Coach Matt Brothers and his team are back in action March 22 at Southern Mississippi.
