Louisiana Blanks DePaul

CORPUS CHRISTI -- The DePaul men's tennis team dropped its first match of the 53rd annual H-E-B Invitational to Louisiana 4-0 on Friday morning.

The Ragin' Cajuns (12-3) collected the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Louisiana's Jan Galka and Kacper Dworak clinched a 6-4 win at No. 2 over Blue Demons Conor O'Meara and Luuk Wassenaar while Elio Lago and Jamie Fraser topped Vito Tonejc and Tripp Tuff 6-3 at the No. 3 position.

In singles action, Christopher Casati fell to Lago at the No. 3 position, 6-2, 6-1. At No. 5 Fraser knocked off Tuff 6-1, 6-2. Jan Galka clinched the match for the Ragin' Cajuns over Vito Tonejc at No. 1, 6-4, 6-3.

Up next, the Blue Demons will take on University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at 5 p.m. on Friday.
