Conor Glennon leads the team over first 18 holes at Palm Valley Golf Club
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The DePaul golf team opened the Loyola (Md.) Intercollegiate on Saturday and sits in 18th place after 18 holes. Conor Glennon led the Blue Demons on the first day of the three-day tournament.
Glennon carded a 75 (+3) and is in a group in 54th place. Stephen Sul and Nik Gatmaytan followed Glennon in a tie for 66th after both posted an opening day score of 76 (+4). Perry Chong and Noah Kolar rounded out the action for the Blue Demons in a tie for 90th after each posted a 78 (+6) on Saturday.
Loyola Marymount sits atop the team leaderboard after a first round score of 284 (-4). The Blue Demons posted a team score of 305 (+17). Delaware's Roberto Nieves holds a one-shot lead after an opening round score of 67 (-5).
