Charlie Moore Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Junior guard picks up fourth weekly recognition of the season
CHICAGO – DePaul's Charlie Moore was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the fourth time this season after games against Villanova and Georgetown last week. Moore averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds in the two games.
The Chicago native totaled nine assists to just three turnovers last week while averaging 35.1 minutes per game. He totaled eight points, four rebounds and two assists against Villanova last Wednesday. On Saturday, he led the Blue Demons over Georgetown with 20 points, seven assists, three rebounds and a steal. Moore also went 8-for-10 at the free throw line against the Hoyas.
Marcus Zegarowski of Creighton was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week while Villanova's Justin Moore was the Freshman of the Week. Joining Moore on the honor roll was Providence's Luwane Pipkins, Sandro Mamukelashvili from Seton Hall, Villanova's Saddiq Bey and Tyrique Jones of Xavier.
Moore and the Blue Demons play two road games this week starting Tuesday at Xavier. Following the Xavier game, DePaul travels to Butler for a Saturday evening contest.
