Glennon and Kolar in Top 15 After in First Round

PINEHURST, N.C. – Conor Glennon and Noah Kolar turned in strong showings on Friday to lead DePaul in the first round at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. Glennon is tied for fourth and Kolar is tied for 13th following the first circuit at Pinehurst No. 8.

Glennon turned in a two-over score of 73 on Friday and is one of nine players tied for fourth place. Kolar was a shot behind Glennon with a 74 (+3) and is in a group in 13th place.

Grant Boyson is tied for 42nd after a 78 (+7) while Artemiy Yalovenko is tied for 55th following a round of 80 (+9). Nik Gatmaytan carded an 81 (+10) and is tied for 62nd while individuals Perry Chong and David Griggs are tied for 55th and in 71st place. Chong posted an 80 (+9) on Friday and Griggs recorded a 90 (+19) in the first round.

Belmont holds the team lead after 18 holes with a score of 296 (+12) and is ahead of Longwood and George Washington. The Blue Demons are tied for ninth with Elon after posting a team score of 305 (+21) in the first round.
