Krasowski Selected to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Sophomore libero averaged 6.42 digs per set at Tru By Hilton Dayton Beavercreek Invitational
CHICAGO – DePaul's Rachel Krasowski has been recognized by the BIG EAST Conference for the second week in a row with a spot on the weekly honor roll as announced Monday.
The sophomore libero totaled 77 digs across three matches at the Tru By Hilton Dayton Beavercreek Invitational to average 6.42 per set. In DePaul's 3-2 win over Marshall, Krasowski tallied 27 digs to go along with a service ace and four assists.
Saturday, the Orland Park, Ill. native put up a combined 50 digs in matches against Ball State and Wright State. On the weekend, Krasowski committed just one reception error in 41 attempts for a .976 serve receive efficiency.
Krasowski has recorded double-digit digs for 16 matches in a row.
DePaul is set to host the DePaul Invitational, Sept. 10-11. The Blue Demons welcome Penn, Akron and Oakland for a round-robin tournament. DePaul will face Akron on Friday at 7 p.m. before facing Penn at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Alumni Day will be celebrated prior to the 7 p.m. match against Oakland.
