DePaul Golf Wraps Up Xavier Invitational

CHICAGO – DePaul Golf concluded action at the Xavier Invitational, Tuesday afternoon. The Blue Demons finished the event in eighth place, scoring 893 (+29). DePaul improved on each round, posting its best score on its final 18 holes of 293 (+5).
Alex Vekich led DePaul through the entire tournament, finishing T-16th after shooting 218 (+2). Vekich shot even in both the first and third round. Freshman Billy Gneiser also rounded up a top-25 finish for the Blue Demons, ending his day T-22nd at 221 (+5).
Conor Glennon finished with a total of 228 (+12) to come in T-45th, while Cameron Karney and Artemiy Yalovenko rounded out the Blue Demons T-55th.
DePaul closes out its 2022 fall schedule at the Hawkeye Invitational, Oct. 16-17, at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course in Riverside, Iowa.
