DePaul Completes Day 1 at Hawkeye Invitational

IOWA CITY, IOWA – DePaul Golf completed day one of action at the Hawkeye Invitational, where they are tied for fifth following the first two rounds with a team score of 611 (+35). After completing 36 holes Sunday, the teams' will conclude Monday morning with a final 18.
Graduate transfer Cameron Karney leads the Blue Demons with 150 (+6). Karney is tied for 10th and is looking for his first top-10 finish of the season. Billy Gneiser and Artemiy Yalovenko finished the day T-16th at 152 (+8). Gneiser got off to a strong start, shooting 36 (E) on the first nine holes of the day.
The Hawkeye Invitational serves as the conclusion of DePaul's fall slate. The Blue Demons return to action Feb. 6 for BIG EAST Match Play in West Palm Beach, Fla.
