DePaul Finishes Fourth at Iowa Fall Classic

Cameron Karney records first top-10 finish of season
IOWA CITY, Iowa – In the conclusion of its fall season, DePaul men's golf finished in fourth at the Iowa Fall Classic Monday afternoon. As a team, the Blue Demons finished with a score of 913 (+49) and were led by Cameron Karney who finished in seventh after scoring 221 (+5).
Karney moved up from 10th yesterday after shooting -1 on his final nine holes. It marks Karney's first top-10 finish of the season. Artemiy Yalovenko and Billy Gneiser rounded out the top-20 finishes for DePaul. Yalovenko placed 11th, scoring 226 (+10) and Gneiser came in at 17th with 230 (+14).
Conor Glennon and Alex Vekich rounded out DePaul's competitors with 34th and 38th place finishes, respectively.
DePaul is scheduled to resume its 2022-23 season, Feb. 6-7, at BIG EAST Match Play in West Palm Beach, Fla.
