DePaul Women’s Basketball to Host Annual Field Trip Day

Thousands of Chicagoland school children to descend upon WIntrust Arena on Dec. 12
CHICAGO -- DePaul Athletics is excited to welcome back its annual women's basketball Field Trip Day presented by Wintrust Junior Savers Club for the 2022-23 season which is scheduled for Monday, December 12 at 11 a.m. at Wintrust Arena as DePaul hosts Howard.
Since 2008, over 50,000 elementary school students have received complimentary tickets and t-shirts to DePaul Athletics events with a large majority of children coming from the Chicago Public Schools system.
The annual event works to acquaint young folks with the potential of a college education while taking in NCAA Division I competition at the highest level. Each year the gratitude from students, teachers and school administrators is overwhelming about Field Trip Day opening the students' eyes to a whole new world.
