Las Vegas native joins Blue Demons program ahead of 2026-27
Dillard joins the Blue Demons after spending the previous three seasons at San Jose State, where she redshirted her freshman campaign before appearing in 37 games over the past two seasons. The Las Vegas, Nevada native made 21 starts during the 2025-26 season and emerged as one of the Spartans' top defensive contributors.
"We're excited to add Kaliyah's energy and motor to our team," said Pizzotti. "She's eager for an opportunity to continue developing her all-around game and make an immediate impact on the defensive end of the floor. Kaliyah is excited about our style of play, and we believe her athleticism and versatility fit perfectly with the uptempo brand of basketball we want to play."
During the 2025-26 campaign, Dillard ranked second on the team with 24 blocks while also adding 20 steals. She led the Spartans in rebounding in seven contests and averaged 4.2 rebounds per game, which ranked fourth on the squad.
Prior to her collegiate career, Dillard was a three-time Nevada state champion at Centennial High School.
Dillard adds length, versatility and defensive presence to the Blue Demon lineup. She is DePaul's fourth transfer portal addition ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, joining Louis Volker (George Mason), Zoey Ward (Iona) and Doyinsola Lijirin (Wagner).
