Jill Pressly Earns Honor Roll Nod

Blue Demon junior leads the league in kills and points in final week of regular season

NEW YORK – After leading the league in kills and points in the last week of regular season competition, DePaul junior Jill Pressly was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced on Monday.

Pressly capped off a fantastic season with a total of 49 kills in a 1-1 weekend for the Blue Demons. In Friday's three-set loss to then-No. 11 Creighton, the Plano, Texas native recorded 22 kills, collected 12 digs and put up five blocks while hitting at a .275 clip.

In a five-set win over Xavier, Pressly totaled a career-high 27 kills, her sixth 20-kill performance of the season, to go along with a match-high 16 digs.

For the season, Pressly finished with 476 kills to average 4.03 per set in addition to 3.04 digs per set. In conference play, she turned it up a notch, recording 4.29 kills per set to rank second among BIG EAST attackers.

DePaul finished their fall season 10-20 and 6-12 in BIG EAST action.
