Jake Fuderer Named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week

Fuderer totaled two goals in draw against Villanova

CHICAGO - DePaul men's soccer defender Jake Fuderer was named the BIG EAST Defender of the Week on Thursday, as announced by the conference. Fuderer notched two goals in the season finale against Villanova on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Fuderer, a fifth-year player for the Blue Demons, tallied four goals in the 2022 season making him the leading scorer for the year. He fired off 24 shots throughout the season, earning nine points and logging 1398 minutes on the pitch for DePaul this season.

This is Fuderer's first Defensive Player of the Week award of his career. The Glenview, Ill. native was named to the 2021 All-BIG EAST Second Team and the 2020-21 All-BIG EAST Third Team.
