Track and Field Releases 2022-23 Indoor and Outdoor Schedule

Blue Demons host their first meet of the season on Dec. 9
CHICAGO - DePaul track and field announced their 2022-23 schedule on Wednesday. The schedule includes two indoor meets hosted by the Blue Demons before the BIG EAST conference championships take place at Gately in late February.Â
DePaul opens the indoor track and field season in South Bend, Ind. for the Blue and Gold Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame on Dec. 2.Â
The squad will return back to Chicago to host the second meet of the season, the Blue Demon Holiday Invite, at Gately on Dec. 9. Â
The Blue Demons will kick off the new year with another Chicago meet at Gately, the Blue Demon Alumni Classic, taking place on Jan. 20. The next weekend, the squad hits the road for the Illini Challenge, hosted by the University of Illinois from Jan. 27-28.Â
The team heads back to South Bend, Ind. on Feb. 3-4 for the Meyo Invitational.Â
One final regular season meet for the indoor season will take place on Feb. 10 in Allendale, Mich. at the GVSU Big Meet.Â
DePaul will begin postseason action with the BIG EAST Indoor Championships being hosted at Gately on Feb. 24-25. The NCAA Indoor Nationals, hosted in Albuquerque, N.M. start on March 10-11. Â
The outdoor track season is set to begin in Orlando, Fla. with the Black and Gold Invite hosted by the University of Central Florida on March 17-18.Â
After Florida, DePaul heads back to Illinois to compete in the Redbird Challenge on March 31-April 1, hosted by Illinois State. The team will then head to the Fighting Illini Challenge, hosted by the University of Illinois, on April 8.Â
The Blue Demons will head west for the Mt. SAC/Bryan Clay meet from April 12-15 in Walnut, Calif.Â
DePaul will travel to Champaign, Ill. one final time for the Gary Weineke Memorial meet on April 21-22 hosted by the University of Illinois. The Blue Demons will then participate in the Clarke Wood Open for their final regular season meet of the 2022-23 season on April 28-29.
The outdoor track and field postseason will kick off with the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in Philadelphia, Penn. on May 12-13.Â
The Blue Demons will hope to send competitors to the NCAA West Preliminaries on May 24-27 in Sacramento, Calif. and the NCAA Championships on June 7-10 in Austin, Texas.Â
