Darius Brown Concludes Historic DePaul Career Sunday in USATF Semifinals

Blue Demon alum finishes among top hurdles in the nation
EUGENE, Ore. – Darius Brown brought his storied Blue Demon career to a close Sunday afternoon at the 2025 USATF Outdoor Championships, placing 16th overall in the men's 110m hurdles semifinals with a time of 13.58.
Brown was one of just 12 collegiate athletes in the 26-man semifinal field and finished sixth among that group, holding his own against a lineup stacked with professional and World Championships-bound hurdlers.
The DePaul alum advanced to Sunday's semifinal after running 13.54 in Friday's opening round to secure an automatic qualifier. His final performance adds to a résumé that cements him as one of the program's all-time greats: four All-America honors (two First Team, two Second Team), 18 conference podium finishes, eight BIG EAST titles, and program records in the 60m, 300m, 110m hurdles, 400m, 4x100m, and 4x400m relays. Brown also owns BIG EAST records in the 60m, 110m hurdles, and 4x100m relay.
