Blue Demons Open Craft Farms Intercollegiate

GULF SHORES, Ala. – DePaul started play at the Craft Farms Intercollegiate on Sunday with the first of three rounds to be played over a three-day span. Artemiy Yalovenko led the Blue Demons in the first round and is tied for 21st place while the team is in 11th place.

Yalovenko posted a one-over score of 73 on Sunday and is in a large group of players in 21st place. Noah Kolar is a shot behind Yalovenko following his round of 74 (+2) and is tied for 33rd place.

Nik Gatmaytan is tied for 49th and Aarjav Patel is in a group in 62nd place. Gatmaytan recorded a 76 (+4) and Patel finished with a Sunday score of 78 (+6). Grant Boyson carded an 82 (+10) and is tied for 71st place.

South Alabama holds the lead on the 13-team leaderboard with a first round score of 277 (-11). The Blue Demons are in 11th place following a combined score of 301 (+13) on Sunday. Matthis Besard from Southern Illinois and Jack Hearn of South Alabama share the individual lead after each player posted an opening round of 67 (-5).
