Blue Demons take on No. 7 Creighton in BIG EAST Quarterfinals in Cayce, S.C.
CHICAGO – No. 2 seed DePaul's BIG EAST Championship title defense comes into clear focus on Friday in Cayce, S.C. when the Blue Demons confront No. 7 Creighton in the quarterfinals.
First serve is bright and early at 9 a.m. (ET) at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center.
Despite their status as the reigning champ, coach Matt Brothers and his team were seeded second to last year's runner-up, St. John's.
It looks like the "Band of Brothers" will have to prove themselves all over again.
They certainly acquitted themselves well in conference competition going 5-0 against league foes.
After St. John's and DePaul, Xavier was seeded No. 3 by the coaches seeding committee and Butler was slotted No. 4.
Here's a rundown of the top four seeds and leading contenders for the 2022 BIG EAST title with Sunday's championship match streamed live on the BIG EAST Digital Network Presented by SoFi on FloSports.
