Blue Demons join 14-team field at Glen Oaks Country Club
CHICAGO – The DePaul golf team will continue its 2022 fall slate Sept. 26-27 at the Zach Johnson Invitational in West Des Moines, Iowa.
The Blue Demons join Butler, Houston Baptist, Iowa State, IUPUI, Loyola Chicago, North Dakota, North Dakota State, South Dakota, St. Thomas, Northern Iowa, Valparaiso, Western Illinois and host Drake for three rounds of action over two days.
The 14-team will play at the Glen Oaks Country Club which features a par-71 layout over 6,898 yards. DePaul's lineup for the week includes Conor Glennon, Alex Vekich, Cameron Karney, Artemiy Yalovenko and Aarjav Patel with Paul Costello competing as an individual.
Monday's play begins at 8:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start for 36 holes followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday for the third round. Live scoring is available at BirdieFire.com.
DePaul opened its 2022-23 schedule Sept. 19-20 at the Valpo Fall Invite. The Blue Demons took a third-place finish after carding an 883 (+19) across 54 holes. Glennon turned in the top performance in the lineup, finishing third after going six-under (210) at Sand Creek CC in Chesterton, Ind.
 After the Zach Johnson Invite this week, DePaul will return to action Oct. 10-11 at the Xavier Invitational at Maineville's TPC River Bend.
