Doug Bruno Court Rededicated at Wintrust Arena

All women's basketball games to be played on Doug Bruno Court
CHICAGO – DePaul Vice President and Director of Athletics DeWayne Peevy announced on Thursday evening that the court for all women's basketball games at Wintrust Arena will be named Doug Bruno Court, while Ray and Marge Meyer Court will remain at all men's basketball games.
Bruno, who was enshrined in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in June of 2022, is entering his 37th season leading the women's basketball program in which he has amassed 758 victories and earned a berth in 26 NCAA Tournaments.
Coach Doug Bruno Court at McGrath-Phillips Arena was originally dedicated on November 6, 2010. At the time, Bruno was just the third Division I women's basketball coach to have a court named in their honor, joining legends Kay Yow and Pat Summitt.
The 2022-23 Blue Demons open their season on Wednesday, Nov. 9 against American at Wintrust Arena. DePaul plays 15 games in the South Loop including non-conference matchups with Miami (Nov. 20) and Louisville (Dec. 21) along with a full BIG EAST Conference slate.
