
Pressly Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

Pressly earns third weekly honor of the season
CHICAGO - DePaul volleyball senior Jill Pressly was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon, as announced by the conference. This is Pressly's third time as the conference's Offensive Player of the Week in the 2023 campaign.
Pressly tallied 39 kills in an undefeated weekend on the road, averaging 4.875 kills per set. Her 20 kills at Villanova and 19 at Georgetown were both match-highs. In a 3-1 win at Georgetown on Saturday, the senior recorded a hitting percentage of .368, her third-best of the season.Â
The Plano, Texas native totaled 23 digs through two matches, averaging 2.875 digs per set. Pressly recorded her 14th double-double of the season on Friday at Villanova, which was the 39th of her career.Â
The senior added three service aces in both matches this weekend, moving her total to 24 on the season. Pressly also chipped in two assists and one block on the weekend.Â
Heading into the final weekend of conference play, Pressly leads the league in kills per set with 4.47 and points per set with 4.96. The senior's mark of 4.47 kills per set ranks 12th nationally.Â
UP NEXT
The Blue Demons will round out the 2023 regular season hosting a pair of home matches. Seton Hall will visit McGrath-Phillips Arena on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 18, the team will host St. John's for Senior Day with first serve set for 6 p.m.
