
Katelynn Oxley Tabbed to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Oxley earns first conference honors of her career
CHICAGO - DePaul volleyball sophomore Katelynn Oxley was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, as announced by the conference. This is Oxley's first time earning conference honors in her career.Â
The Lincoln, Neb. native tallied 13 kills throughout the weekend, including seven in the win over Seton Hall on Friday, Nov. 17. Oxley's seven kills came off on a .700 hitting percentage, as she recorded 10 attempts and zero errors.
The middle blocker recorded a new career-high with eight blocks against St. John's on Saturday, Nov. 18. Oxley totaled 11 blocks, including a solo block, during the weekend of play.Â
Oxley posted a career-best 10.5 points in the loss to St. John's. Throughout her sophomore campaign, Oxley has led the BIG EAST in blocks, averaging 1.14 per set. The middle blocker has also averaged 1.02 kills per set on a season hitting percentage of .288.Â
