Rachel Krasowski and Jill Pressly Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Krasowski and Pressly earn honor after historic season
CHICAGO - Two members of the DePaul volleyball team were named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday. Rachel Krasowski and Jill Pressly earned honors for their academic and athletic successes this season.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District consideration, the student-athlete must be a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must compete in 90 percent of contests played by the team or start in 66 percent of matches.
Krasowski, a senior libero, competed in 31 matches during the campaign recording 553 digs and averaging 4.98 digs per set. The Orland Park, Ill. native earned All-BIG EAST honors for the first time in her career and was tabbed to the AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention. Krasowski is set to graduate with her bachelor's degree in Finance in June 2024.
Pressly, a senior outside hitter, saw action in 32 matches throughout the season while tallying 516 kills, averaging 4.45 kills per set. The Plano, Texas native was a unanimous selection to the All-BIG EAST Team for the second consecutive season. Pressly earned her bachelor's degree in finance and is currently pursuing a master's in business analytics.
Both Blue Demons will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America honors.
