Krasowski earns first AVA honors of her career
CHICAGO - DePaul libero Rachel Krasowski has been named AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Tuesday morning.
Krasowski is the fifth Blue Demon to be recognized by the AVCA, and the second in the past two years.Â
The senior earned All-BIG EAST honors for the first time in her career during the 2023 season, after leading the conference in digs per set. Her 4.98 digs per set also ranked top 25 nationally during the regular season.Â
Throughout the season, Krasowski totaled 553 digs which is the second-most of her career and fourth all-time in program history. The Orland Park, Ill. native also holds the DePaul single-season digs record with 582 which she set last season.Â
Krasowski recorded double-figure digs in 28 matches during the 2023 campaign, including nine matches with 20+ digs and three matches with 30 or more.  Â
