DePaul Gears Up for Clash with Seton Hall on Monday

Blue Demons prepare for first of two games in three days against the Pirates
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – DePaul women's basketball will play its second game in a three-day span when the Blue Demons visit the Seton Hall Pirates on Monday evening at Walsh Gymnasium. The two squads will meet for the first time this season in a game that was originally scheduled for Jan. 28 but was postponed by the BIG EAST Conference as DePaul could not meet the conference-minimum seven scholarship players due to injury.
Wednesday's rescheduled matchup will tipoff at 6 p.m. (CT) with coverage on the BIG EAST Digital Network carried by FloHoops.
About DePaul
DePaul (13-12, 6-8 BIG EAST) is coming off a 77-61 setback at the hands of St. John's on Saturday, Feb. 11. The Blue Demons shot just .333 percent from the field and fell cold from the behind the three-point line, connecting on just two attempts.
Aneesah Morrow tallied her 20th-performance of 20 or more points with 23 points to go with 8 rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Morrow has been the catalyst for the Blue Demons offense this season, averaging 25.4 points per game which ranks fourth in Division I while totaling 19 double doubles this season which is good for third nationally.
Senior forward Keke Rimmer has risen to the occasion over the last four games, averaging 14.0 points and 7.3 rebounds. In wins over Butler and Xavier, Rimmer totaled and matched her career-high of 15 points before grabbing the third double-double of her career against St. John's with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
As a team, the Blue Demons lead the BIG EAST in rebounds (41.2 rpg) and steals (9.1 spg) while ranking second in scoring with 76.6 points per contest.
About Seton Hall
Seton Hall is 15-10 and 8-7 in league play after most recently falling to Maddy Siegrist and Villanova on the road, 99-65 on Saturday. Last time in Walsh, the Pirates fell to a hot Creighton team 77-64.
Senior guard Lauren Park-Lane has led the Pirates all year long with 19.6 points per game, third in the BIG EAST and second in assists at 6.1 helpers a contest. In the frontcourt, Sidney Cooks is averaging 15.9 points and a team-best 6.1 points per game.
When getting to the charity stripe, the Pirates convert at a BIG EAST-best .797 clip.
Tony Bozzella is in his 10th season in South Orange and is 186-122 at the helm of the Seton Hall program.
