
Blue Demons Held Off by Butler in 3-4 Decision

DePaul drops to 8-12 after falling to the Bulldogs
INDIANAPOLIS – DePaul men's tennis was held off by Butler in a close 3-4 decision Saturday morning. Sven Moser, Aleksa Krivokapic and Pablo Torres Almeida captured DePaul's three points on the singles courts.Â
ÂButler took the lead after securing the doubles point with back-to-back wins on the No. 1 and No.2 courts. The Bulldogs continued to win matches on the singles side, picking up two more points before Krivokapic earned DePaul's first win of the day, defeating his opponent 6-3, 6-2.Â
ÂAlmeida also claimed a two set victory on the No. 5 court, winning 6-3, 6-4. Moser defeated Nicolas Arts 7-5, 6-2, to give DePaul its third point of the match but Butler ultimately won the competition after capturing the final win on court No. 1.Â
