DePaul Drops Match to VCU 5-2

RICHMOND – DePaul Men's tennis drops to 9-13 after losing their match to #30 VCU on Friday afternoon. The Rams captured the doubles point and earned three more wins on the singles side to claim the overall victory.

After VCU won the doubles point, DePaul looked to respond on the singles courts. Freshman Aleksa Krivokapic and Pablo Torres Almeida earned two points for DePaul. Krivokapic claimed a 7-5, 0-6, 10-6 win on the No. 3 court while Almeida dominated his opponent in two sets with a 7-5, 6-2 victory on the No. 5 court.

However, the Rams continued to dominate on the singles side and eventually nabbed their fourth point to claim the win.
