Yalovenko Finishes Second at Valpo Fall Invitational

CHESTERTON, IND. - DePaul golf's Artemiy Yalovenko led the Blue Demons at the Valpo Fall Invitational with a second-place finish, Tuesday afternoon. The second-place result is the best in his collegiate career and second top-10 placement. Â
As a team, the Blue Demons came in fourth, follow a standout second round where the team scored 295 (+7) and was led by Noah Kolar who tallied a 71 (-1). Kolar finished the competition tied for ninth, marking the sixth top-10 finish of his career. Â
Ryder Henares, Alex Vekich and Conor Glennon rounded out the counters for DePaul as each placed inside the top-50. Individually, Billy Gneiser had a solid round of 54 coming in 30th with a 231 (+15). David Griggs and Paul Costello also competed individually, tallying 245 (+29) and 263 (+47), respectively. Â
