Darius Brown Qualifies for NCAA Indoor Championships

The Blue Demon prepares for Boston
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field's Darius Brown qualified for the 2024 NCAA Track & Field Indoor Championships, as announced by the committee Tuesday night. Brown's performance in the men's 60m hurdles at the BIG EAST Championship is currently tied as the No. 9 time nationally.
The Louisville native's 7.63 race at the 2024 BIG EAST Championships set the conference indoor record and bested his previous school record for the fourth time this season. The previous BIG EAST Indoor Championship record had stood since 2005.
At the end of the championships, Brown was co-named Men's Most Outstanding Performer in Track Events by the conference. The Blue Demon is no stranger to awards this season, having been named BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week three times for his multiple record breaks in the men's 60m hurdles.
Brown is set to compete in Boston on March 8 and March 9.
