Men’s Tennis Returns Home to Face Marquette

DePaul looks to bounce back after falling Friday to Purdue
CHICAGO – DePaul men's tennis returns home to Chicago on Sunday, March 3, as they play host to BIG EAST rival, Marquette. First serve is set for at 1:15 p.m. CT at XS Tennis Village.
The Blue Demons (5-6) resume their home slate after falling to Purdue in W. Lafayette, Ind. on Friday, March 1, 2-5. DePaul split matches against Western Michigan and Navy last time at home, Feb. 24-25.
Marquette (2-9) enters Sunday with three straight losses coming to North Dakota, Montana, and UIC. In its most recent bout with UIC on Friday, March 1, the Golden Eagles fell 2-5. In eleven matches this season, Marquette has wins against Chicago State and Eastern Illinois.
Last time the two teams faced off, Marquette took down DePaul in a narrow 4-3 decision. Leon Huck, Shourya Verma, and Sven Moser all registered singles victories in the match, with Huck and Pablo Torres Almeida adding a doubles victory at No. 1.
In the all-time series, Marquette leads 12-10 with seven wins in the last ten matches.
