DePaul Cross Country Announces 2024 Schedule

Blue Demons to race at Northern Ill., Notre Dame, Loyola Chicago, and Bradley
CHICAGO – DePaul cross country announced its 2024 fall slate, Wednesday evening. The Blue Demons' schedule features four regular-season invitationals in Illinois and Indiana, with postseason action beginning in November.
"We're excited to add a few 'new' meets to the schedule and compete earlier than in the past," said associate head coach Geoff Wayton. "We have a young team and we really believe that our schedule is best suited to build their confidence and experience for this year and beyond."
DePaul opens its 2024 campaign with the Huskie Opener on Friday, Sept. 6, in DeKalb, Ill. The Blue Demons cross country team returns to Northern Illinois for the first time since 2012.
On Saturday, Sept. 20, DePaul sprints to South Bend, Ind. for the National Catholic Championships, hosted by the University of Notre Dame. The Blue Demons return to South Bend for the first time since 2018.
The third meet of the season, the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational, takes place in Chicago on Friday, Oct. 4. Situated just north of Belmont Harbor, DePaul joins Loyola Chicago for the third consecutive year on the lakefront.
The Blue Demons make their fourth appearance of the year when they head to Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Ill. for the Bradley Pink Invitational on Friday, Oct. 18.
Postseason action begins on Friday, Nov. 1, with the BIG EAST Championships at Morven Park in Leesburg, Va.
DePaul returns to Bradley on Friday, Nov. 15 for the NCAA DI Midwest Regional Championships.
The NCAA Championships are slated for Saturday, Nov. 23, and will take place in Madison, Wis.
